About the frame

Any structure capable of maintaining the dome, the mirror and the projector in position agrees.
I use a system of tubes and spherical joints simply because I have a small stock of it which I re - use infinitely.
These parts are not very expensive, we find them in the shops of do-it-yourself.
We can improve the esthetics with joints in set square, more recent.
They are however more expensive, and probably less solid.
To facilitate a later recovery of tubes we use rather standard lengthes:
-- 150 cm (red),
-- 100 cm (blue),
-- 75 cm (green).


The grey circles represent the spherical joints.
The blue circles blue 100 cm tubes seen by the end,
The red circle represents the 150 cm tube seen by end.

This plan shows only the main tubes which support the dome, the mirror and the tablet of the projector.

He indicates only the global dimensions and the arrangement.
The structure can be wooden, aluminium etc.
The system of round tubes 25 mm in diameter was previously made by various brands.
We find it easily under the brand RS Italy today RS Italy :
